They came from Italy. They found us through "Tourist Information
at Hakodate Station". At the beginning, they reserved one night,
and then tell us to reserve 2 nights.......maybe like here.

Mr. Lorenzo have a book that translate Japanese into Italian.
He spoke us.......to make sure he said Japanese correctly.
"Doumo Arigatou Gozaimasu".....means "Thank you very much"

Nice place very easy to find. Staff, very kind and helpful, English
speaking !! Quite and nice atmosphere, comfortables rooms,
very clean. You feel at home, just relax and enjoy your staying..

We helped them to reserve next inn by phone.......He said

They came from France, and stay here the first night in Hokkaido, and the last night to
leave Hokkaido. Thank you for your stay ! and have a nice trip in Japan !

Location : Easy to find. We visit the city and hike through
Hakodate, following your advice we had a great dinner in
a local restaurant.
Staff : Stafff was very helpful and kind giving good advice
on things to do in Hakodate.
Character : We recommend this hostel because we
apporeciate both the staff and the location (near the
historical center of the city).
Security : As safe as we did not even think about it !!!

Thank you for your precious complaints. Mrs. Emi Crow is teacher, she serve
Japanese class in high school. She had been came to Japan every year, lead a group
of students to study Japanese culture and language during the stay with a family.

This time, they have a nice private trip. Thank you for your stay !

Our only complaint was the cigarette smoke.
We are very sensitive to that.
Your bread was very good. Thank you for loaning us the
umbrellas. Our only suggestion would be to add some
simple Japanese decorations to the walls, in the rooms.
Just a little would add a lot to the atmosphere.

Easy to find B&B. We enjoyed the port, shopping in the
warehouses and walking and looking at the beautiful view.
Staff are extremely helpful and attentive. They even
ensured we had larger slippers to at our larger feet !
We thought this was very kind.

The B&B has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
We like the garden and bird house. The bread and coffee
were particularly excellent.
We felt very safe.

Mr. and Mrs. Gregory visited again with her parents.
The big fireworks is one of their many pleasures at
Hakodate Port too.......but, rained off.......we said her
mather......we are very sorry and what a pity you can't see !
She consoled us for raining off and said.....we will come here
for pleasures, rain or shine. It's no problem, thank you.

Next morning turned out to be a fine one when they start.

A superb and warm welcome on our first day of our trip.
Cosy and roomy dining area helped a lot on our first
crab-dinner. It was so enjoyable that all 6 of us had a great
time with the land-lord and land-lady. They were our parents,
simply taking care of our sleep, food and most importantly
our intinerary during our stay in Hakodate !

We welcomed a lively group from Hong Kong and a decency family from U.K.
They stay 2 nights here and the big fireworks is scheduled to open next night
at Hakodate Port that is one of their many pleasures at Hakodate.

First night, a group from Hong Kong enjoyed big club-dinner at lounge......feel at home.
The weather was going from bad to worse. Finally, sucheduled the big fireworks was rained off.

A few weeks ago, we recieved one e-mail.......

Dear B&B Pension Hakodatemura,
Thank you SO much for the photos. That was very kind
of you. It was most kind of you to re-send them and take
photos of the fireworks, they are beautiful. We feel as
if we could have been there in person !

We have had a lovely time in Daisetzusan National Park and
have just had two nights in Muroran, (beautiful beach and
amazing yakitori !) We now head forTokyo(long journey) and
leave on Saturday. We've had a wonderful time in Japan,
thanks to people like you.

Hello and thank you for your qu' of answer. I would like to ask you a question before confirm
my reservation. For the moment I don't know if I will take the day train Tokyo-Hachinohe
-Hakodate or take a night train Tokyo-Sapporo (it depends of the disponibility when I go to
the railway station on august 3rd, my arrival day in Japan). Do you think I can confirm my
booking with you for 5th of august, and maybe I will have to cancel on 3rd of august ?
Will you charges any expenses for this cancellation ?

We send back e-mail......We don't request you to pay the cancellation charge. But could you
please......when you arrive in Japan, if you must have to changed your schedule, please let us
know as soon as possible ! However......we are looking forward to your visit !

They came from Spain, They made contact us with Sakura Ryokan
that is a member of our Japanese Inn Group.
Japanese Inn Group is made up of a membership of 90 into large
and small Japanese Ryokan, Hotel, B&B style........around Japan.

By the way, they enjoyed relaxing with sightseeing 2 nights at
Hakodate. We imagine as a father and daughter, and his leisurely
trip that succeed wholly to her kindhearted help.. They left for Sapporo,
after leisurely breakfast time and chatted with us over coffee.

1/ The place is difficult to find as map provided on the
website is not detail enough.
2/ Staff helpful & friendly & reliable. We feell safe
staying here. It's also clean & neat.
3/ Atmosphere is cozy & homely. It's a home away
from home feeling. Like the common place for free
coffee,tea making facilities. Good place to sit & chat
& free internet.
4/ The room can be improved by having more hanging
hooks. Not enough place.....hooks to hang our clothes.

She came from Spain to meet her son, studies abroad in Japanese college.
She have had a good time with him, and then traveling alone in Hokkaido.
She spent leisurely time on breakfast and check her schedule at lounge.
