It's the first snow of the year !
We welcomed our arriving guests, they are 3 generation family of Japanese-American.
They stay here 3 nights leisurely. In the afternoon, they enjoyed to play
"‰ÔŽD"
Hanafuda card game in harmony and lively at lounge. That sounds like the song of a
bird talking is music to our ears. Mather said "It was a first experience
stay in pension."
B&B Pension Hakodatemura isn't traditional Japanese style house.......westurn style.
We are always thinking about how can we make you a relax and take off a
strain.
Please enjoy in Hakodate that's our pleasure ! And thank you for your advice,
we are going to little bit step and step !
We found the B&B easily. Location excellent. Liked the garden and the
many plants
( tis, cosmos, maple, dracaena, etc ) and flower arrangements. Would definiitely
stay here again as well as recommend it to my friends.
- Comments from Kay ( Her daughter) -
We also really enjoyed the reception area and our favorite nook where we
could
"hang out" and drink tea & coffee. Everything was kept very
clean and the staff
were very friendly and accommodating ! Overall it was a very charming and
convenient inn and we enjoyed stay here ! Thank you !
- Comments from Jann ( Her granddaughter) -
This is my third trip to Hokkaido. I've travelled the world extensively
and was a
tour escort to Asia (+ Japan) several times. This deliteful inn has a warm
wholesome atmosphere that it was like home away from home.
The plants and artistic decor spotlessly clean atmosphere enhanced our
stay.
Daughter Kay and I definitely prefer this accommodation to the hotel.
Thank you for making all of us feel very comfortable.
- Comments from Lily Yuriko Weiss ( Grand mother) -
The location is very good for attractions in the area.
It is within walking distance of most of the places that seem interesting.
It was easy to find once we knew exactly where it was on the map.
The staff is fantastic, very helpful and reliable.
They were very kind and helped us a lot whenever we needed it.
The atmosphere of the inn is very welcoming and comfortable. I am surprised
that this inn is not mentioned in my travel guide because it has a good
location,
a good price, and is very spacious and comfortable.
I especially appreciated the hot tea available in the lounge.
I did not need to use a safety deposit box or leave anything of value here
so I don't know about that, but I felt very safe here.
I would recommend it to anybody who decides to come visit Hakodate.
- Comments from Sonia Lupher -
She is a student from abroad.........came from Oregon, USA.
She seemed to us to be cold in her such scanty clothing.
We adviced her to wear our son's orange jacket, because the pretty cold
day
continued a few days. However, they went to enjoy sightseeing actively.
Hey look out of the window ! It's the first snow of the year !
By the way, that orange jacket looks very good and charming on her, aren't
you ?
Thank you for your stay ! Have a good student life in Japan !

We welcomed gentle and courtesy and warm family, they came from Australia.
They spent here the first night in Hokkaido and the last night to leave
at Hokkaido.
Mr. Brad is gentle in manners and his wife have a warm heart with courtesy,
and their daughters have a supple mind and pretty smile.
They made a pet of our puppy, his name is "Kojiroh"......a three-month-old
boxer.
The Hakodate Christmas Fantasy is just open when they revisit again.
Would you take pleasure in sightseeing at that night ? Thank you for your
stay !
We found the B&B Pension Hakodate-mura very easy to find.
The map on the web site were fantastic and easy to follow.
We are a family with two children 13, 9 age. And found the hosrel safe,
and plenty
of storage (sorry, we couldn't read) room in our rooms. The rooms are Japanese-
style and very comfortable. The westurn breakfast was a nice surprise yummy.
The manager Mrs. Sumiko Kudo was friendly, helpful, and went out of her
way to
make you feel welcome. I will be recommending this hostel to anyone visiting Hakodate.
Thank you from Brad, Rayieen, Natalie, Caitlin
